Leadership and Staff

Pastor Gabe Gill has served as Lead Pastor at Gum Branch since August 2014. In his over twenty years as a pastor, he has made it his life’s mission to glorify God in all that he does and to lead others to do the same.

Pastor Gabe is married to his lovely high school sweetheart, Amy. They have three children and one daughter-in-law: David & Holland, Emily, and Kara.

Pastor Barbee has served the Lord as an ordained Southern Baptist gospel minister since 1982. He served twenty years as Chaplain in the United States Army plus churches in Louisiana, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Julie, were married in 1971 and have five children and five grandchildren. His and Julie’s fathers were career soldiers and they both traveled the world before starting their own twenty-five year career in the military. Julie and John have a love for soldiers and for their families and children and want to see them enjoy serving for the glory of the Lord Jesus as well as for the defense of our freedoms.

Pastor Gerald Greenlee has served as the Associate Pastor for Family Ministries since September 2023. Prior to being called to Gum Branch, he served as senior pastor for 16 years in churches in Florida & Georgia.

Pastor Gerald is married Leslie, the love of his life in 1996. The Lord has blessed them with 3 daughters, Kylie, Karsyn, & Kyrslie, two sons-in-law, Bubba and Dylan, and one grandson, Nolan. His life verse is John 3:30.

Brandon Tucker has served as a leader of church music ministries in SBC churches since 2006, and has served at Gum Branch Baptist Church since 2016. Brandon and his wife, Ashley were married in 2005 and have three children: William, Kenneth, and Owen. Brandon has a passion for organizing music and services that glorify God and encourage others to participate in Biblical worship.
